| January 1, 2009 | 2009-2010 FAFSA Renewal Please review your 2009-2010 Renewal FAFSA online at www.fasfa.ed.gov, and revise the information to reflect the 2008 income (and any other information that has changed) for both you and your parent(s). Please submit the application electronically and be sure to specify Marist college (code: 002765) as the recepient of your information. Marist college preferred deadline for filing the FAFSA for 2009-2010 is April 1, 2009. Please Note: Due to limited funding, there will be NO Perkins Loans awarded if the FAFSA is received after the preferred deadline. |

Student Financial Services staff will be available to assist you with any financial aid matters or concerns you may have. Lunch will be served in the Cabaret and activities are outside on the campus green. |

| June 2009 | Electronic Award Notification Provided we have received your FAFSA results electronically, you will be sent a Financial Aid award notification via email. |
| July 2009 | Verification Process Requirements Students who have been picked by the Government for Verification will be requested to supply Marist with additional information. The Marist Application for Financial Aid must be completed and returned to our office with signed copies of the 2008 parent's and student's federal tax returns, including Schedules C, D and E if applicable, and W-2 forms. The application is available through Student Online Financial Services by clicking on Award Information/Student Requirements or by clicking on forms. This information should be sent to our office no later than July 15, 2009. |
| July 2009 | Loan Process Begins Your loan will be processed for the amount indicated on your e-award, unless we are otherwise notified, and provided we have an MPN on file from a previous semester. |
| July 6, 2009 | Fall 2009 Tuition Statements will be mailed this week.
