Petit Penelope’s ideal Salesperson is able to drive their own and the store's business to success through their personal sales and clienteling ability. They should be able to create excitement through exceptional customer service and provide the ideal shopping experience for each client, making Petit Penelope a destination location! Responsibilities include: • Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance • Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items • Advise customers by providing information on products lines and designers • Help customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions. Ensure all customers receive flawless customer service • Document sale by creating or updating customer profile records. • Measure customers for garment fit/order accuracy • Process payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, or credit cards • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Driving the store business by surpassing personal sales goals • Develop, build and maintain the customer base/clientele • Assisting with set up of store visual displays and helping with store upkeep • Answer customer service calls • Ship online orders • Enter data • Keep store neat and tidy, including mopping, sweeping, bathrooms • Pack and unpack inventory • Ability to work the hours necessary to guarantee the success of the business Requirements: • Friendly, energetic and likes to work with people • Superb listening skills • Meet sales goals • Understanding and selling to customer needs • Detailed product knowledge • Dependable • General mathematic skills • Verbal and written communication skills • Job knowledge • Computer skills, including internet, Excel, Word, etc. • Time management and organizational skills • Professional appearance and attitude • Must be available on weekends • Drivers’ license and access to car for errands Plus: • Bridal shop, boutique and/or tuxedo rental experience • Habla español • Knowledge of Excel, HTML, Word or other computer programs Petit Penelope offers an exciting opportunity to make great money.
