Job Description	SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM COORDINATOR Six week non-sectarian summer day camp serving Poughkeepsie City children aged 6-11. Work with Camp Director to plan and carry out all-camp activities. Be active leader and presence. Assist Counselors in managing 4 small groups of c.12 children in mix of inside and outdoor activities--arts, sports, music and drama. Also environmental studies, nature craft, reading and writing. GOALS: create -- fun and camp spirit for all; a rich cultural and social camp experience; promote responsibility to self, family, and larger community.
Hours A Week
Pay Range	$ 3,500
Specific Hours	Day camp runs Monday thru Friday (except 4 July),July 1 thru August 9, from 8:30am to 4:00pm. One staff meeting until 5pm each week. PROGRAM COORDINATOR should arrive at 8:00am & stay to 4:30pm or as needed to complete planning. REQUIRED PARTICIPATION IN COMPENSATED ORIENTATION WEEK JUNE 24-28 & CLEAN UP DAY ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 10.
