Credit for Prior Learning: A Guide for Students

Adults are constantly learning, whether attending a community or a four-year college institution or through non academic settings such as, professional work experience, community service, or professional training programs.  The Prior Learning program in the School of Global and Professional Programs at Marist College gives adult students an additional opportunity to gain college credits towards a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art degree.

Workshops

Through a Prior Learning Workshop discover how life experience, both professional and in service to your community, may be accepted as an equivalent to college level learning, and take you closer to earning earn your degree.  Attend a Prior Learning Workshop and learn how your life can earn you credit!  Review the scheduled date and location that is convenient and register for the workshop.
