Tampere Polytechnic is located on five campuses: Teiskontie, Finlayson, Sammonkatu, Kuru and Lapinniemi. Students can take courses in the fields of Art and Media, Business Economics, Technology and Natural Resources. Finnish polytechnic studies combine higher education with practical experience. Every year, more and more international students decide to study at Tampere Polytechnic because of its location and quality courses. For international students, the term starts in either September or January with an orientation program, introducing students to the Finnish way of life and providing all the necessary information.
Most apartments include two/three rooms and a shared bathroom and a kitchen. The rooms in student residences are normally furnished; students are expected to provide their own bedding and kitchen utensils. There are saunas and laundry facilities available for students.
