Singapore Program

The Singapore Program offers MAP students the opportunity to study at the National University of Singapore (NUS) either for one semester or academic-year. NUS is ranked as one of the top universities in Singapore, offering such undergraduate courses in Asian language studies, computer sciences, mathematics, engineering, and medicine.

National University of Singapore (NUS)

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is one of the finest universities in the Asia-Pacific region. It commands international recognition for its excellence in teaching and research, and offers an educational experience comparable with top universities in the world. The University also enjoys strong links with industry. These connections translate into a range of industrial attachments, which help impart practical knowledge to students.

A cosmopolitan student population and a wide gamut of sporting and recreational activities make student life vibrant at NUS.

Orientation

Orientation is aimed at assisting new students to get a better and clearer understanding of the University and will be an excellent opportunity for students to meet other students. An orientation package containing general information about the campus and Singapore will be given to each student.

Accommodation

The Prince George's Park Residences are located off South Buona Vista Road next to King Edward VII Hall (behind the National University Hospital).

The single rooms are grouped into clusters of 15 and offers an apartment lifestyle. The 15 residents are entrusted with collective responsibility for their shared facilities. Each cluster has its own kitchen, dining area and bathroom facilities. Students are therefore offered opportunities for independent and close interaction with one another. MAP students will be placed in single rooms with air-conditioned and attached bathrooms if available.
