Desktop Administration maintains and supports over 1600 computers for the faculty, staff, over 35 computer labs, and more than 40 multi-media classrooms for Marist College. We support the Poughkeepsie campus as well as Fishkill and Goshen off-sites. We maintain the most current technology by refreshing our computer systems on a scheduled basis while increasing the number of "smart" classrooms annually. Faculty submits requests for upgrades to both hardware and software through the chairman of their department and/or the Dean at the end of the spring term. License copies of software are loaded on the classroom and lab computers for the fall semester. Each faculty requesting the software also receives a copy of the requested software for preparation of their course.
