From July 26 to August 9, continuing students will be moved into the Marist Mail system. Students will be migrated alphabetically by last name. Marist Mail offers exciting new services to Foxmail users, including collaboration tools, chat, and groups.

Q: Do the collaboration tools offered in Marist Mail replace iLearn?
A: The collaboration applications in Marist Mail do not replace iLearn. The tools in Marist Mail are intended to provide users with additional ways to collaborate with peers, faculty, students, and colleagues.
Q: Do I need to do anything to move to Marist Mail?
A: You will not need to do anything to move to Marist Mail. You will receive an email in your Foxmail account with the subject: Welcome to Marist Mail! This email will contain instructions on how to log into your Marist Mail account.
Q: Will my email address change?
A: Your email address will not change. The same email address you use today such as FirstName.LastNameemail@example.com for example, will continue to be your email address.
Q: What will happen to my current Foxmail account?
A: When you receive access to your Marist Mail account, you will no longer receive email through your Foxmail account.
Any student provisioned from August 1, 2017 through the present will have until the end of the Fall 2017 semester to forward any email to Marist Mail.
Faculty and staff who are provisioned will have until the end of the Spring 2018 semester to forward any email to Marist Mail.
Q: What will happen to the current email in my Foxmail account?
A: If there is any email in your Foxmail account that you would like to keep you will need to forward that email to your new Marist Mail account.
Q: How long will I have to forward my email from Foxmail?
A: Student Foxmail accounts will expire at the end of the Fall 2017 semester. Faculty and Staff Foxmail accounts will expire at the end of the Spring 2018 semester.
Q: Will I still be able to send or receive email in Foxmail once I have been moved to the Marist Mail system?
A: New email will no longer be accepted by your Foxmail account once you have received access to Marist Mail.
Q: I am a student; when will I be moved to Marist Mail?
A: All continuing students will be moved into the Marist Mail system between June 16 and July 8. Students will be moved alphabetically by last name. Users will receive an email to their Foxmail account approximately one week prior to the move.
Q: I am faculty or staff; when will I be moved to Marist Mail?
A: Faculty and staff will be moved by school or department. Users will receive an email to their Foxmail account approximately one week prior to the move. Training sessions will also be provided to all users prior to moving to Marist Mail.
Q: How will I know that I have been moved to Marist Mail?
A: You will receive an email in your Foxmail account with the subject: Starting Tomorrow - Welcome to Marist Mail! The email will provide you with information relating to the transition to your new Marist Mail email account.
Q: What will happen to my mail if I have it forwarded somewhere else?
A: If you have your mail forwarded somewhere else, this setting will remain the same on Marist Mail. In the shared Marist email directory the visible address will be your Marist email (Firstname.Lastnamefirstname.lastname@example.org), not your forwarded address.
As a reminder, the policy and procedure of the College is for faculty and staff to use your Marist-provided email address, even if you have it forwarded to another account, for any official correspondence. Any responses to faculty and staff must come from your Marist-provided email address.
