Information for Placement Providers

The Albany Internship Experience allows undergraduates to explore career opportunities surrounding New York State politics and policy by interning and taking courses taught by Marist College faculty. The internship program, which is open to junior and senior level students, is offered in the Fall and Spring semesters of each academic year.

Albany Internship Experience students work at their internship placement four days a week (Monday-Thursday) and attend a seminar course on the fifth day (Friday). The Albany-based AIE Program Director supervises students and works closely with internship placement supervisors to make sure that the program provides a quality experience for both student interns and internship providers.

If you would be interested in hosting an unpaid intern please submit information about your organization here. Feel free to contact Program Director Krista Applebee with any questions. As students indicate their fields of interest during the application process we will contact you to confirm your availability and make sure that the potential intern is a good fit for your organization. We hope that you will join us to showcase the many exciting career opportunities for students in your field.
