Information for Placement Providers
The Albany Summer Internship Program allows undergraduates to explore career opportunities surrounding New York State politics and policy by interning and taking courses taught by Marist College faculty. The internship program, which is open to junior and senior level students, is offered for six weeks in May and June each summer.
ASIP students work at their internship placement four days a week (Monday-Thursday) and attend an Internship in Context seminar on the fifth day (Friday). The Albany-based ASIP Director supervises students and works closely with internship placement supervisors to make sure that the program provides a quality experience for both student interns and internship providers.
If you would be interested in hosting an unpaid intern please submit information about your organization here. Feel free to contact ASIP Director Krista Applebee with any questions. As students indicate their fields of interest during the application process we will contact you to confirm your availability and make sure that the potential intern is a good fit for your organization. We hope that you will join us to showcase the many exciting career opportunities for students in your field.
