Welcome to The Marist Summer Writing Institute!
The 2009 SWI invites writers from the Hudson Valley and beyond to
come together for an exciting week that will include workshops in
fiction, nonfiction or poetry, informative panel discussions, and a
Keynote Reading and Reception with acclaimed creative nonfiction and
fiction author Michael Martone. The SWI was created to give all writers,
regardless of background or ability, the opportunity to hone their
personal craft as a part of a true community of writers. This summer,
