A select group of literary professionals will discuss the topics that matter most to today's writers: obtaining an agent, working with editors, and other tips on getting published. The discussion is followed by a reception, allowing participants the opportunity to converse with panelists one-on-one.
Writers and professionals will lead a group discussion of Michael Martone's newest work of creative nonfiction, Racing in Place: Collages, Fragments, Postcards, Ruins. A unique work of prose, this book will undoubtedly foster an innovative discussion on the line between fact and fiction, as well as the fragmentary nature of both memory and narrative.
