Lecture to Explore AIDS Activism's Impact on the Medical Field


 Activist, publicist, and journalist Jay Blotcher
 will deliver a lecture entitled "How AIDS Activism
 Changed the Medical World" on Wednesday,
 May 7, 2014. The talk will explore the mobilizing
 of ACT UP and other key groups in response to
 the AIDS pandemic.

The event is sponsored by the LGBTQ
 subcommittee of the Diversity Council,
 the Center for Multicultural Affairs, and the School
 of Liberal Arts. It will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the
 Marist Recital Hall in the newly renovated Student
 Center. All are welcome!
