Liberty Partnerships Program: Students are assigned a short-term project based on their interest. Here are some examples:

  1. Coordinate the annual Harvest Festival for middle school students that is held in the Cabaret. The Praxis student would contact clubs to set up activities such as face painting, music, etc. In the past, 20 clubs have participated.
  2. Plan a fun event at Marist for middle school students during Spring break (e.g. recreation in McCann)
  3. Assist with other events on campus such as our 3-event Career Academy for high school students and Mentoring at Marist for high school students. Mentoring is held on a weekly basis on campus from 3:00 - 5:30 PM.
  4. Plan a multi-cultural event for high school students on campus.
  5. Provide tutoring and/or group meetings (study skills, etc.)

The Praxis student would attend planning meetings with the LPP staff and the staff would work at any events planned by the student.
