The School of Management Council of Business Leadership is a knowledge sharing community that inspires students and faculty to collaborate in meaningful endeavors, fosters engagement between clubs, and promotes a spirit of cooperation with its stakeholders. Together, the Council nurtures leadership, promotes personal growth and provides a forum where business students can fully enjoy their School of Management experience.
Alpha Kappa Psi exists to promote professionalism and brotherhood among
our members, and to bring our values and work ethics to the forefront
of the business environment and Marist College community. By shaping

Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary and professional fraternity for
accounting, finance and information systems majors. Its stated purpose
includes recognizing scholastic and professional excellence in the
fields of accounting, finance or information systems with the provision
of opportunities for self-development and association among members and
practicing business professionals; an encouragement of a sense of
ethical, social and public responsibility.
These national objectives are consistent with the mission of Marist
College as an institution that is committed to excellence in education,
the pursuit of higher human values and dedication to the principle of
service. In addition, the Marist College chapter of Beta Alpha Psi is
dedicated to the concept that a student's education should include
experiences outside of the classroom.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society serving business programs
accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance
Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the
highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive
in a business program accredited by AACSB International.
The Mission of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma is to
encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to
foster personal and professional excellence, to advance the values of
the Society, and to serve its lifelong members.

The Business Club is comprised primarily of students with Business and
Accounting majors and minors. The Club provides a social gathering for
School of Management students while bringing informative and practical
services to its members.
The mission of the Business Club is to provide practical, informative, and entertaining subject matter to the students. The club provides a relaxed setting for students to discuss their related interests in the business world as well as broaden their knowledge of business opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom. Most importantly, it is a link between the business world, the faculty, and the students at Marist.
The purpose of the Economics Club is to bring together students from all
majors interested in economics. The club will provide students with a
forum for to discuss current economic issues and to share common
interests. The club will be showing movies related to economics and
will also partake in activities (such as a field trip to NYC and
volunteer opportunities). The goal of the Economics Club is to act as a
gateway for students to meet one another and have fun!
Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the world's largest academic honor
societies. The objectives of Omicron Delta Epsilon are recognition of
scholastic attainment and the honoring of outstanding achievements in
economics; the establishment of closer ties between students and faculty
in economics within colleges and universities, and among colleges and
universities; the publication of its official journal, The American
Economist, and sponsoring of panels at professional meetings as well as
the Irving Fisher and Frank W. Taussig competitions.

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world's largest
association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than
210,000 individual members, the Society's mission is to serve the needs
of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive
resources available. As an influential voice, the Society's mission is
also to advance the human resource profession to ensure that HR is
recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing
organizational strategy. Founded in 1948, SHRM currently has more than
550 affiliated chapters and members in more than 100 countries.
SIFE is a global non-profit organization active in more than 40
countries. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from corporations,
entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies and individuals. Working
in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes
student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty
advisers and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects
that reach SIFE's five educational topics:
