His research interests are broadly defined by two broad areas. These are the generation change in the work force and assessment of student learning outcomes. His goal is to look for new and different ways to work both of these ideas into older areas of research interest and/or as ways of collaborating across a diverse group of colleagues.

In summary, his overall research interests include: Generational Differences; Work/Family/Life Issues; Fairness and Psychological Contracts; Work issues for Hispanic business professionals; The changing nature of the workplace; and Issues involved in assessment of student learning outcomes.
