Master of Business Administration in Accounting

Program Overview

The Marist MBA for Accountants (MBAA) program has been carefully crafted to mesh with your undergraduate experience, internships, and accounting firm expectations.  It is a "registered" program for the 150-hour credit requirement to make you eligible for the Certified Public Accountant exam in New York State.

You will join a cohort and take your classes together, building camaraderie and making professional connections, even friendships, that will endure long after you've graduated.  You will complete the program in one year, starting with one course in the summer, then taking four classes fall semester, one course during the condensed winter intersession, and four classes in the spring. The summer course is taught in a hybrid format, but all other classes are taught face-to-face.
