Student Resources A-Z

Academic Calendars

The Marist academic calendar includes two fifteen week fall and spring semesters, a winter intersession, and a summer session. For accelerated programs, please refer to your individual program for more information.

Academic Learning Center

This center provides academic support to undergraduate and graduate students through the use of various courses, tutoring programs, and academic counseling. This is located in the Library Room 331.

Athletic Calendars

Marist provides a calendar listing all athletic games, whether home or away.

Career Services

Collaborates with the College community and external partners to prepare students for career success. 

Computer Labs

There are multiple computer labs available throughout the Marist campus, each with a network printer available to facilitate printing from the lab computers. This site allows you to search for a computer lab or media classroom's location, hours of availability, and list of software/hardware specifications.

Computer Store

An on-campus computer store to buy anything for your technological needs. Located in Donnelly Hall. You can also order products online though the online computer store.

Counseling Services

This office provides individual and group counseling services to students as well as psycho-education, workshops, and training for the Marist community.

Digital Publication Center

This center provides students with a wide range of print production services, including high-speed printing and copying. The center is located at Donnelly Hall Room 209.

Dining Services

Marist Dining Services offers a dining program to meet your individual needs based on your schedule of classes, sports, clubs and community service.

Forwarding Marist Email

This site allows Marist Foxmail accounts to be forwarded to off-campus email addresses. To have your emails forwarded simply go to this site and fill out your information.

FoxMail

All students are issued a Marist email address referred to as their FoxMail. Use your Marist account information to log in.

FoxQuest

FoxQuest provides currently enrolled students with tips and information related to career opportunities such as available jobs and hiring employers employers.

FoxWeb

This is a personal web space that is available to students, staff, and faculty. Use your Marist account information to log in and create web pages as well as upload files.

Health Services

Full-time undergraduate students can receive free medical treatment on an appointment basis. To make an appointment please call 845-575-3270. Emergencies and non-appointments are triaged promptly and seen in order of severity.

ID Cards

You can get a Marist ID card through the Marist Card Office located in Donnelly Hall Room 241. You must be a registered student in order to receive an ID card.

iLearn

The Marist iLean (Innovative Learning Environment and Research Network) is a web based collaborative learning environment supported by the Academic Technology department. You will need your Marist User Account to gain access to this system.

Library

James A. Cannavino Library Business Administration Subject Guide Overview (video in top left). Marist's library home page provides a variety of features, such as Ask a Librarian, allowing you to ask a question to an on duty librarian. 

 Media Center

The Media Center is located in the Lowell Thomas Communication Center Room 203. This center provides students with multimedia support for classes and events. Students and faculty can reserve equipment ahead of time and view the type of equipment that is offered.

Parking Permits

Parking permits for the main campus in Poughkeepsie can be obtained online through the Office of Safety & Security. Permits are free of charge and must be renewed annually. Additional rules and requirements are available on the Office of Safety & Security website.

In the event that you need your password reset, please contact the Help Desk at 845-575-HELP (4357).

Contact Marist Security for various needs and emergencies. There is a list of contact number for various situations.

Service and
System Availability

This page displays the availability of services and systems as well as any relating alerts. It also provides information regarding when any maintenance will be done on the systems.

Accommodations and Accessibility

This office provides individualized support to students with disabilities.

Snow Closings

Snow closings are posted on the Marist website www.marist.edu as well as on local radio and news stations. A weather hotline is also available at 845-575-5500. 

Textbooks

Textbooks can be purchased at the Marist Barnes & Noble Bookstore located in the Student Center Rotunda. Textbooks may also be purchased online through their website and delivered to your home. You will need your course schedule in order to purchase the appropriate reading materials.

Marist College provides a calendar of upcoming events. You can choose to view scheduled events of the day, week, month, or year.

User Account

Your Marist user account is sent to you upon admission to the College. This account is to access all of the College's online services. If you have misplaced your user account please contact the Help Desk at 845-575-HELP (4357).

 Writing Center

 This center offers free tutoring to anyone in the Marist College Community. You may make an appointment ahead of time or drop-in during scheduled hours.
