Welcome from the Dean of the School of Management

Dean

Welcome to the School of Management at Marist College.

Marist is a highly selective, comprehensive private institution located in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley region of New York. Founded as a seminary in 1905, the college is renowned for its liberal arts-based curriculum and the innovative use of technology both inside and outside the classroom. Marist also maintains a branch campus in Florence, Italy, and extension sites throughout New York State.

Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the School of Management enrolls approximately 1,350 undergraduate and 400 graduate students in accounting, business, economics, and public administration programs. Our faculty members are accomplished teacher-scholars with outstanding academic credentials; our courteous and talented professional staff assists students with all types of nonacademic issues. Faculty and staff work in tandem to ensure our students are successful in all aspects of college life.

Our distinguished alumni also are very engaged in the activities of the school: they help connect students with internship and career opportunities, serve on the Dean’s Board of Advisors, and host site visits at their companies during our annual New York City Career Trek. You will often find Marist alumni and other friends of the School of Management making presentations in our classrooms and networking at informal events on campus.

The School of Management offers amazing opportunities to our students, both during their time on campus and throughout their subsequent careers. We hope you will choose to partner with us as you strive to reach your academic and professional goals.
