iLearn Orientation (Training)
The purpose of the orientation is to introduce you to the virtual environment and show you how to navigate successfully through your online course. Marist online courses are taught using a collaborative learning environment called iLearn which provides a range of communication and information management tools designed to facilitate interactions with course content, your instructor, and peers.
If you have not used the iLearn system before, orientation is mandatory.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need your Marist account prior to accessing your online course.
- Check to make sure that you can log into iLearn. If you are not able to log into the system please contact the Help Desk.
- Two - three weeks prior to the start of the course you will receive an Online Student Welcome Kit via email. This kit will contain book ordering information, instructions on how to participate in the mandatory online orientation, the iLearn system overview, as well as how to access instructor welcome letters.
- Look for the orientation course in your iLearn Quicklinks section.
