What's been the best part about Marist for the past four years?

I fell in love with this school in ninth grade on a tour! I owe the best experiences of my life to Marist. When I heard about how 50% of the student body goes abroad, I seized the opportunity to fulfill my dream of going to Europe. I had the time of my life exploring seven breathtaking countries in Europe where I met fascinating people from all over the world. Aside from my semester overseas, I’ve learned and grown so much from this amazing school and the wonderful, empowering friends I’ve made. When I receive my diploma, I’m going to look back on these four years and know that I’ve lived them to the fullest and didn’t waste a single second, which is how I plan to go through life.

Why did you get involved with Habitat?

Ever since I was in high school, I’ve always felt this connection to Habitat for Humanity. I loved everything the club stood for and needed to be a part of it. This club has exceeded my expectations. The Collegiate Challenge mission trips have taught me one of the most important lessons in life, to always give more than you take.

What's something freshmen should know?

The four years at Marist will fly by. So, seize the opportunities that inspire you, work hard to reach your goals and enjoy the ride!
