HUDSON RIVER VALLEY QUADRICENTENNIAL CONFERENCE AVAILABLE VIA WEBCAST

POUGHKEEPSIE - September 25 through 27, the Hudson River Valley Institute (HRVI) will host a conference, "New York's 400 Years: Celebrating America's First River, the Hudson." The conference, part of the state's Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial Celebration, will feature keynote speakers, panel sessions, receptions and a play about Henry Hudson. Topics of the conference include the significance of the Hudson River; Dutch-American relations; Hudson River Valley artists, architecture and landmarks; and the Valley's first inhabitants.

The entire conference can be viewed live online via Webcast beginning Friday, September 25. The Webcast will be made available by Total Webcasting. A link for the Webcast will be found on the Hudson River Valley Institute's Web site, www.HudsonRiverValley.org. Following the conference the videos will be archived on the HRVI Web site for public reference.
