The Annual Student Exhibition 2014

POUGHKEEPSIE (April 25, 2014) – The Department of Art and Art History will present its Annual Student Exhibition reception in the Marist College Art Gallery on Thursday May 8 from 5 – 7 p.m. The students have been working hard, and this is their most exciting exhibition of the year. Each student exhibition brings bigger crowds, with past receptions drawing more than 1,000 people.

Student Exhibition 2014

Long acknowledged as a leader in the area of digital media, the department of art and art history has grown the area of studio art to equal stature. Marist art and art history graduates are eagerly sought by graduate programs around the country. This year, as always, the students put their best foot forward in creating a memorable exhibition. The focus is on painting, drawing, sculpture, digital media, printmaking, photography, and books. This exhibition will be an important show celebrating student accomplishment.
