BA/BS IN LIBERAL STUDIES and MBA IN NATIONAL RANKINGS

POUGHKEEPSIE (January 9, 2014) – Two Marist College online degree programs – the Master of Business Administration and the BA/BS in Liberal Studies – have once again been ranked among the top in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Online Education Programs.” Both programs have appeared on the "Best Online Education Programs" list since its inception in 2012.

For 2014, Marist’s BA/BS in Liberal Studies is ranked 17th out of 283, and its MBA ranks 46th out of 239 programs listed.

To devise its lists, U.S. News considered admissions selectivity, faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, and teaching practices and student engagement. Complete rankings are available at www.usnews.com/online-education.

Marist’s Online MBA

Marist launched New York State's first AACSB-accredited, 100%-online MBA program in 1998. It was also one of the first such programs in the nation. The AACSB is the premier business school accrediting body. Also known as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, it accredits less than one third of business programs in the world. U.S. News also included Marist in its 2013 listing of the top 250 part-time MBA programs, and the School of Management is listed in the Princeton Review's "Best Business Schools" for 2014, as well.
