Marist College Criminal Justice Career Fair

Internships and Employment Opportunities for Criminal Justice Majors

Marist College Criminal Justice Career FairSponsored by the Criminal Justice Society, the Marist College Criminal Justice Career Fair is back! The Criminal Justice Career Fair is an opportunity for Marist students to obtain internships or job positions in their desired filed. This year, the career fair will take place on April 19th from 11 am to 2 pm. It will be located in the Cabaret in the Rotunda/Student Center. We have representatives coming from courts, corrections and law enforcement including Secret Service, U.S. Marshals, NYPD, Downstate Correctional, Dutchess County Probation, Dutchess and Ulster County Sheriff’s Offices, Dutchess County Public Defender’s Office, Family Services of Woodstock, as well as Town of East Fishkill, Town of Poughkeepsie, and Hyde Park police departments.

Marist Criminal Justice students frequently go on field trips to local jails, prisons, and Floyd Bennett field which houses the NYPD Special Operations Division.  Students learn about equipment, resources, and training for NYPD officers.  While there, students also get to observe a field training exercise, typically involving helicopters engaged in a rescue operation.
