New York State’s Council for Exceptional Children
Marist Student Presents at Fall Conference in Buffalo, NY
Senior Tara Dandrea is pictured presenting at New York State's Fall conference of the Council for Exceptional Children held in Buffalo in early November. Tara was among 10 presenters from NYS colleges who presented a project at the conference's Poster Session. Most other presenters were students at the Master's and Doctoral level, so Tara represented our Marist undergraduate candidates well!
Tara's poster was entitled, Helping Resident Assistants Support College Students on the Autism Spectrum.
Not only for CEC, but Tara also recently presented her work again, this time in a 1 hour workshop session for Residence Assistants at a regional student life conference hosted by Marist.
Tara credits Professors Brakas, Stivers and Trela for encouraging and guiding her presentation.
