Bio: Prior to joining Marist in Fall 2008, I taught at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, worked for the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, and served as a program assistant and specialist respectively for the Justice Research and Statistics Association and CSR, Incorporated working on contracts for the National Institute of Justice. I am fascinated with the entire criminal justice system and strive through my teaching and research to bring my passion for the subject matter alive. While my current research explores hate crimes, public opinion and sentencing, sexual assault, and alcohol abuse, I hope to enter the area of institutional corrections research in the near future. That said, I am always up for conversation on just about any criminal justice issue with anyone with interest in, curiosity about or passion for the criminal justice field.
