IMPORTANT NOTE: STUDENTS MAY NOT REGISTER FOR CLASSES IN THE MW 5:00-6:15 PM TIME SLOT DURING ANY SEMESTER IN WHICH THEY ARE COMPLETING A FIELDWORK/INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE.

I. PREPARING FOR FIELDWORK/INTERNSHIP: 10 STEPS FOR SETTING UP A FIELDWORK/INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT
Complete these steps the SEMESTER BEFORE you go out into the field.
NOTE: PSYC STUDENTS MUST ATTEND A MANDATORY ORIENTATION SESSION:
- During the first several weeks of the fall and spring semesters, PSYC Fieldwork/Internship Orientation sessions are offered.
- Students must attend ONE session the SEMESTER BEFORE going into the field.
- Instructors will announce the date/time/place of the meetings.
- Posters located in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences mailroom and on psychology faculty office doors will announce this information, and also all psychology majors are sent an email with the information.
NOTE: PSYC STUDENTS SHOULD CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE PSYCHOLOGY COURSE INFORMATION PAGE TO REVIEW THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PSYC MAJOR SPECIFIC TO THE SEMESTER IN WHICH THE MAJOR WAS DECLARED.
