Presidential Inaugural Activities: Psychology Research

Several psychology majors were selected to present posters of their original research projects as part of the inauguration activities for incoming Marist President David Yellen. The presentations will be held in the Murray Student Center River Rooms from 1:30-5:00 PM on Friday November 4, 2016.

The students and their projects are:

Gabrielle Eberle (with faculty advisor Kimery Levering): Mental health and poverty in the Hudson Valley

Elizabeth Hicks: The effect of positive self-talk on quantitative test performance

Laura Miller: The celebrity culture phenomenon: The consequences of superficial identity fulfillment for society and the individual

Molly Poinan: Auditory perception and attention

Francesca Treglia (with faculty advisor William Van Ornum): Orthorexia nervosa: Should this classification be in any updates of
