Four Papers Presented at School Psychology Annual Conference

Marist school psychology students, along with Dr. Stacy Williams, their faculty mentor, presented four papers at the New York Association of School Psychologists conference in Verona, NY October 22-23, 2015. Jana Drummond, alongside her practicum and internship supervisor Robin Mojica [a Marist School Psychology Alum] presented on "The implementation of a mindfulness curriculum in an urban district: Lessons learned."  Alyssa Amendola, Angela Claffey, Sarah Dawson, Katherine Stenglien, Gillian Adams and Jana Drummond presented "Practical counseling strategies: Motivation, attention, depression and anxiety." Marissa Malouf, Alyssa, Angela, Sarah and Gillian Adams presented "Developing trade tools: Academic evidence-based intervention resource handbook." Katherine Stenglien presented on "The impact of self-monitoring intervention on teacher candidate ability to understand and interpret data: Pilot results."
