Students who have declared their major in a prior year should consult the appropriate catalog.
Because of its interdisciplinary nature, anthropology has traditionally been viewed as an integral component of a sound liberal education. Thus, Marist College offers a minor in Anthropology. Although anthropology courses can supplement and enrich the curriculum for any student at Marist College, those majoring in biology, education, history, psychology, and social work may be especially interested in taking these classes or completing the Anthropology minor.
