Our goal is for you to be fully equipped to pursue a satisfying and rewarding career, as well as to set the stage for life-long learning. We offer BS and BA degrees in both chemistry and biochemistry (formally listed a chemistry with biochemistry emphasis for the BS track). Because of the inter-relatedness of chemistry and other fields we require or recommend courses in biology, computer science, environmental science, mathematics, and physics. We follow a chemistry curriculum that is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS), and those students who complete coursework explicitly required by the ACS will earn an ACS-certified degree.
