At Marist, we educate our Doctor of Physical Therapy students to be theoretically and practically prepared for successful careers as physical therapists. Our CAPTE-accredited program combines in-depth classroom and laboratory instruction with extensive clinical rotations to create the most comprehensive Doctor of Physical Therapy experience possible.

A Clinically Driven DPT Curriculum

At Marist, our Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum is designed to create graduates that are thoroughly prepared for the successful careers ahead of them. Our curriculum consists of 36 months of didactic and clinical work. With small class and lab sizes and a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio, you’ll receive personalized attention from our expert faculty. The clinical orientation of the curriculum also provides exceptional hands-on experience in the field. You can choose from more than 300 established clinical rotation sites throughout the country, and you'll even have the opportunity to complete international rotations in Italy and Switzerland.

Earn Your Doctorate With Merit Scholarships

Along with external scholarships and frozen tuition throughout the duration of the program, Marist is offering merit scholarships in the amount of $7,500 per year ($22,500 total) to $10,500 per year ($31,500 total) to eligible students effective for the Spring 2025 cohort. Demonstrated financial need is not required to be eligible, and scholarships are awarded upon admission.

At Marist, we’re invested in your future as a physical therapist. A Service-Oriented Physical Therapy Program

At Marist, one of our key pillars is our commitment to service, and we integrate this commitment into every academic program we offer. Many of our Doctor of Physical Therapy students focus their doctoral projects on service, looking at unmet needs in the community, or education, teaching about physical and health-related topics to different audiences. Our students even have opportunities to participate in medical mission trips with our experienced faculty.
