Information for Students Interested in Health Professions Schools

While the majority of the Marist College pre-health students apply to medical, dental, veterinary or physician assistant school, we have some every year who choose other health professions, primarily optometry, physical therapy, and podiatry. Marist students are extremely successful gaining admission to these schools, with between 60 and 95% gaining entry to their chosen health profession school over the past five years (2012 to 2017).
