Education: B.A. Communications (Emphasis: Journalism) – Marist 2010
M.A. Integrated Marketing Communication – Marist 2014
My earliest memory of Marist is... Standing outside of the Rotunda overlooking the Hudson River with my parents. It was my first Admissions tour and the day I decided Marist was the college for me.
My biggest mentors growing up were... my parents. They raised me right!
When I think of Heroes I think of... my older brother, Kyle, a member of the United States Marine Corps. Defending our nation’s freedom and integrity is one of the most courageous jobs one can undertake, and my brother does it every single day.
When I'm not busy with things at Marist I... am working on completing my master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. I also love reading, writing, cooking/baking and staying as physically active as possible.
If I could travel anywhere... I’d go to Europe, more specifically Ireland! My only regret from Marist is not studying abroad as an undergraduate. Traveling across Europe is definitely on my lifelong bucket list.
The best thing about college is... having the chance to truly discover who you are and what goals you’d like to set for yourself. You may have an idea of who you are, but Marist will help you realize who you can be.
One of my favorite movies is... Forrest Gump. I love how it tells an inspirational story while chronicling some of our nation’s greatest moments in history at the same time.
Message to the Marist students... Seize the day! At Marist you'll be given an endless number of opportunities, but it's up to you to take advantage of them.
