Mandatory Pre-Orientation Training

Prior to arrival on campus, all transfer students must complete the required Title IX modules listed below. Each module will take around 30 minutes to complete. All modules are located on the United Educators website; instructions for accessing the modules can be found here. The modules are:

  • Lasting Choices: Protecting Our Campus from Sexual Assault
  • Show Some Respect! Prevent Harassment
  • Healthy Relationships

Students are required to print a certificate of completion after each module and present these three certificates upon arrival at Orientation. Instructions on accessing these certificates can be found here.


Directions for Accessing Required Modules

*Registration is required in order to complete the modules. You will need Marist’s Institutional Code (1593-SC37-XY12) when registering.*

  1. Go to https://www.edurisklearning.org
  2. Select the option to Register Now on the right side of the screen
    • Create a username and provide information for a user profile
    • Enter your Marist email address
    • When prompted to select your “department,” "describe your position," and “role,” please choose the “student” option
    • Enter this Marist institution registration code: 1593-SC37-XY12
    • Click “Register”
  3. Check your email, where you’ll receive a temporary password
    • Follow the link in the email to sign in and change your password

Once you’ve registered and logged in, you can access the required modules by clicking here.  As a reminder, the required modules are:

  • In the "Healthy Relationships & Dating Violence" section:
    • Healthy Relationships
  • In the "Harassment/Respect Among Peers" section:
    • Show Some Respect! Prevent Harassment
  • In the "Sexual Assault Prevention" section: 
    • Lasting Choices: Protecting Our Campus from Sexual Assault

Printing Your Certificates of Completion

Upon checking in for Orientation in January, you’ll be asked to submit certificates of completion for each module. To access these certificates:

  1. Visit the Transcript section of the United Educators website (log in required)
  2. Under the “Courses” section of the Transcript page, click on the hyperlinked title for each course you’ve completed

  3. Click the “Print Certificate” button on the pop-up that appears
    • The actual certificate will open in another pop-up window

  4. Print your certificates of completion for each course and bring them to Orientation check-in
