Welcome to Marist. Orientation for new commuter and resident students will take place on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Resident students are asked to arrive at the Student Center Rotunda between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to pick up their keys and move into their assigned areas. Commuter students check in between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 in the Commuter Lounge, located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center.
The formal program begins promptly at 1:00 p.m., in the Cabaret (Student Center 2nd floor), and is followed by a luncheon for new students and their families. The day will conclude by 5:00 p.m. Please take a moment to register now by clicking the link above. You can apply for a Parking Permit through the Office of Safety and Security by going to: www.marist.edu/security/registration.html
Marist maintains a "Weather Delay and Cancellation line," which offers recorded instructions regarding changes in schedule. The number is 845-575-5500. The Office of First Year Programs also maintains an Events Line which will indicate any changes in the program. The number is 845-575-FYP1. Please dress for the weather if you plan to tour the academic buildings
