Electronics Recycling

Beginning in spring 2013, the Campus Sustainability Advisory Committee sponsored a free campus wide electronics recycling collection utilizing a certified electronics recycling firm in New York State that strictly adheres to the principles of the “Reuse and Recovery Hierarchy” of responsible materials processing while maintaining an international “Zero-Landfill Policy”.                         

During the past years, over 30,000 pounds of electronic equipment has been recycled.

At the close of the spring 2013 semester, 4,179 pounds of electronic equipment was collected. 

At the close of the spring 2014 semester, 4,842 pounds of electronic equipment was collected

At the close of the spring 2015 semester, 6,550 pounds of electronic equipment was collected

At the close of the spring 2016 semester, 15,526 pounds of electronic equipment was collected
