README ORELSE -- This file you're now reading.....
AVLTREE VMARC -- PL/I routines for building and maintaining
"balanced" binary trees of pointers to
arbitrary data structures
CRAY2IBM VMARC -- converts arrays of floating point numbers
between Cray and IBM formats
GDDMTOOL VMARC -- Misc. tools and symbol sets for GDDM, includes
a GDDM IBM-GL plot driver for pen plotters,
a thick line generation routine, blackjack
as a GDDM application, and math and science
symbol sets for Hurshey fonts.
IEEE2IBM VMARC -- converts arrays of floating point numbers
between IEEE and IBM formats
PCR VMARC -- very powerful PL/I development tool and
interface for implementing CMS commands,
REXX external function packages, immediate
commands, and subcommand environments using
standard PL/I. Also supports loading of user
and PL/I library routines into nucleus for
very fast invocation.
PLIFORM VMARC -- Very nice, "user-programmable" PL/I source
code formatted; table driven to support
multiple styles. For VM and OS/2
PLITOOLS VMARC -- collection of powerful PL/I to VM functions
interface routines. Includes direct native
file i/o to files on minidisk, access to
REXX variables in any currently active
environment, XEDIT macros written in PL/I
(*very fast*) and much more. Also includes
the REXX 'PARSE' statement as a PL/I macro
preprocessor -- now use PARSE in PL/I code.
PLIVSC VMARC -- Detailed comparison of PL/I features and
functions to C; why PL/I is an excellent
language for use in VM.
SUN2IEEE VMARC -- convert from SUN 386i floating point to IEEE
UNIX2VM VMARC -- Paper on porting SierraSeis 1.5 application
from Unix to VM....experiences and benefits
VAX2IBM VMARC -- package to convert VAX float point numbers
to IBM format
We hope the VM community enjoys these contributions as much as we
enjoy sharing them. Questions, bug fixes, comments, etc. to:
