Undergraduate Project Management Major
Project Managers are becoming increasingly in demand in nearly every industry. If you're interested in a career managing projects and project teams across a variety of industries, the Project Management program focuses on developing skills essential for today's workplace with the integration of organizational administration and team management skills.
Liberal Studies students enrolled in our school for the Project Management degree concentration will learn the ins and outs of managing tasks throughout a project – from conception to completion. Tasks may include defining goals, creating and maintaining schedules, establishing and monitoring budgets, delegating tasks to other team members, monitoring project process, and wrapping up tasks on time.
Project Management On-campus and Online Courses
- Economics of Social Issues – An economic analysis of current topics, theories and public policies.
- Introduction to Human Resources – A Project Management concentration course geared toward an understanding of basic Human Resource including responsibilities, objectives and managing change within the workplace.
- Legal Issues in Organization – A Project Management course designed to provide students with the knowledge of legal principles within an organization or business.
- Project Management – A course design to provide students with an understanding of the lifecycle of a project from concept to completion as well as manage obstacles along the way.
Marist College is located in New York. At Marist, we offer many fields of study both online and through on-location courses at our Poughkeepsie, NY campus.
