MPA 530 Ethical Leadership Course

The Organizational Theory and Change MPA course covers the theory and practice of improving organizational effectiveness through planned, systematic interventions and change. The course explores formal and informal driving forces in organizations, including group dynamics, power, organizational culture, change and resistance.

Organizational Theory and Change typical topics include analyzing organizational cultures, structures, processes, and capabilities; designing needed interventions; and assessing the motivational, educational, and other tools needed for successful organizational change. Students will gain an understanding of how external environmental factors such as turbulence and shifting priorities effect an organization.
