Art & Art History Internships Program

An internship is a supervised academic experience that puts you into a "real job." It's an opportunity to test theories learned in the classroom in an actual work setting and is a link to the world of work - a window to establishing a career in a chosen profession. The department provides students valuable internship opportunities in New York City and the Hudson Valley, and capitalizes on our strong relationships with major museums, and galleries.

Internships are designed to give juniors and seniors majoring in Studio Art, Art History, and Digital Media an opportunity to work with professionals. Students must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and be recommended by the Art and Art History faculty. An internship is not a requirement for a major in Fine Arts.
