Professor Lewis joined the Marist faculty in 1984. He has taught a wide range of courses in the Department and was Department Chair from 1995 to 1997 and 2001 to 2010. From 1997 to 2000, he served as Dean of Academic Programs/Asst. Vice President for Academic Affairs. In that role, he was part of the team that established the College's branch campus in Florence, Italy. Currently, he is the Academic Coordinator for Marist College's programs in Italy and Graduate Director for the new MA in Museum Studies in Florence. His teaching focuses on courses in Digital Media, particularly digital painting and animation. In addition, over the past six years, he has organized several short term abroad courses to Italy, France, Netherlands, England, Greece, Turkey, and Japan.
