|Bio:||Suzanne Clune is a featured soprano soloist recognized for her "remarkable vocal clarity" and "soaring soprano" voice (Times Herald Record). Her opera highlights include DIE FLEDERMAUS (Rosalinda), THE BARBER OF SEVILLE (Rosina), THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO (Susanna), THE MAGIC FLUTE (Pamina), HÄNSEL AND GRETEL (Gretel), LA BOHÈME (Musetta), LA CLEMENZA DI TITO (Servilia), THE MERRY WIDOW, (Silvianne), AÏDA (High Priestess) and CARMEN (Frasquita) among others for the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra, Opera Co. of the Highlands, Festival of Arts (Mohonk, NY), The Hudson Opera Theatre of NJ, Delaware Valley Opera, Tri-State Regional Opera and Festival Theatre of NY.
Ms. Clune has been featured in Samuel Barber's KNOXVILLE: SUMMER OF 1915 in venues of the U.K. Other performed works include MESSIAH, CARMINA BURANA, EXSULTATE, JUBILATE, Handel's JUDAS MACCABEAUS, Haydn's "Paukenmesse", Mozart's REQUIEM, Vivaldi's GLORIA, Corigilano's FERN HILL and several Bach's Cantatas including BWV 202 (Wedding Cantata), BWV 51 "Jauchzet Gott" and MAGNIFICAT for Downtown Music Series of White Plains, Broadway Concerts Express, Grand Montgomery Chamber Series, Hudson Valley Bachfest, Potluck Concerts, Music at Marist, West Point Cadet Chapel, Camarata/Ulster Choral Union and The Newburgh Symphony Orchestra.
Some of those Ms. Clune has sung with are Claudia Cummings (NYC Opera), Broadway star, Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd, The Fantastics) and Patrick Carfizzi (Met). She has worked and performed with pianist Steven Blier (Dir., N.Y. Festival of Song) and studied under Norma Newton and Ruth Golden (NYC Opera) among many others.
Ms. Clune is a voice performance graduate of Purchase College. She an Associate Director of Voice at Marist College and an Adjunct Professor at Dutchess Community College and SUNY New Paltz.
