Fraternity & Sorority Life At Marist
Welcome to Marist College! We are excited you have selected Marist and hope Greek Life is one way you will become involved and stay connected to the Marist community.
Fraternity & Sorority life began in 1776, with five students at the College of William & Mary who founded Phi Beta Kappa, the first organization to call itself a fraternity. Although fraternities and sororities have evolved over time their core concepts, principals, and values of brotherhood/sisterhood, service, scholarship, and leadership remain.
The Marist Fraternity and Sorority community is comprised of seven Greek Organizations- three fraternities and four sororities with over 300 members. Involvement in Greek Life will give you the opportunity to participate in leadership positions within your chapter, governing councils, philanthropy and service, organize social functions, and become an active leader on campus.
Please take a moment to look through the information presented on this website. Our hope is that you will become involved on campus and strongly consider participating in our Greek community.
Registration for Recruitment Is Now Closed for Sororities.
The registration process is currently closed for those considering participating in formal recruitment.
