Bio:

I began my career working at Bear Stearns in New York City in various financial roles. I worked there for a few years and then moved to Mellon Financial Services in New Jersey and worked as a staff  accountant. After two years, I began thinking of starting my own business as an entrepreneur in some capacity, and was approached by a friend of my brother who asked if I wanted to purchase a franchise business called Unishippers. We subsequently partnered and purchased a franchise and some years later owned a sizable terrritory in the Hudson Valley area, namely: Orange, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster counties.

During the 2008 recession, I decided to return to school to earn my doctoral degree so I could pursue a career in higher education. I was hired as an adjunct in August 2013 upon completing my degree and was later hired as a visiting professor.
