How did you know Marist was right for you?
It had everything I was looking for in a school. It was a small school so the professors would know my name, but not that small that you would see the same people around campus all the time. I also liked that it was close to the city, but still had a campus and the view is beautiful.
How did Marist prepare you for your desired career path?
A lot of my classes have helped me create and prepare my advertising portfolio. I also did the FIE London Program in London, England where did an internship abroad. My internship gave me such valuable experiences that will definitely help me in the future.
What’s one of your favorite things about Marist?
This sounds silly since there are so many great traditions at Marist like The Giving Tree and Cupcake Tuesday, but my favorite thing is that everyone holds the doors open for everyone. It such a small thing, but it makes a huge impact.
Any advice for incoming freshmen?
Enjoy every second that you spend at Marist, join every club that you can, and make as many friends as possible. College goes by so quickly and it really is the best four years of your life.
