What made you decide to come to Marist?
I immediately fell in love with the beautiful aesthetic of the campus and I really make it a point to spend as much time as I can outside and by the river. Going in as an undecided major, I was comforted with how many majors Marist offers and the different programs like Freshman Focus and courses such as Career Development to help point me in the right direction.
What was the best thing about freshman year?
So many great, life-changing, wildly confusing, fun, exciting, nerve-wracking, exhilarating things about my freshman year. The best thing about my freshman year was meeting new people and making connections with so many different types of personalities. The different cliques of high school are diminished and no one cares if you were a jock or a popular girl.
Do you have any goals or things you’d like to try this year?
There’s something so fresh about the beginning of a new school year. I have a goal to make Dean’s List every semester, and I want to get involved in some clubs that I didn’t get to participate in last semester. Above all, my intention for this new year is to be the best version of myself that I can be and remain positive each and every day.
