How did you end up choosing Marist?
When looking at colleges I knew I wanted to pursue business, specifically human resources, so I looked in one of those massive college guide books and found colleges that had both of those things. I had never heard of Marist before applying, so I visited and immediately fell in love with the campus and all it had to offer.
What is one piece of advice you would give to incoming students?
Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. I was really timid in the first few weeks of freshman year (and if you know me, you know that I am not timid at all!) Once I made an effort to reach out to my roommates and some other people on my floor I began to enjoy myself and make some long-lasting friendships.
How do you think you have changed in the past four years and why?
I grew as a person tremendously over the past four years. I became much more comfortable with myself and finally came to the realization that I don't need everyone to like me. I finally decided to take a step back and do things for myself for a change, and have never been happier.
