Oliver Lee is originally from Sudbury, MA, and spends his summers working and living in New Hampshire for the American Youth Foundation.
What is your major/minor?
I am a media studies and production major and a sports communications minor. I started off as a sports communications major but wanted to have more practical application in the field, so I switched my major to media studies and production. This way, I will be continuing to do work that I enjoy and will be working on a film to wrap up my Marist career!
What was your favorite part of the Marist experience?
There have been a few things that I have enjoyed about the Marist experience but one that stands out is getting to connect with the teachers and students that care about what they are doing. The media studies department certainly has these kinds of people, but there are others out and about.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I am going to continue doing outdoor adventure programming in New Hampshire with the American Youth Foundation after I graduate.
Do you have any advice for incoming students?
My advice to high schoolers looking to come here is that you should really take a look around when you visit and determine if Marist offers what you want to do and if you feel a connection to the people you meet.
