How did you decide on Marist College?
Originally, I did not want to go to school as far away as New York. However, my brother was a student at Marist, and Marist Accommodations and Accessibility was able to accommodate me for extra test time, which was not something that a lot of other colleges I looked at offered. The campus was also beautiful, all of which made me decide to give Marist a try.
What was it like going abroad for a semester?
I went abroad to Japan for a semester my junior year. Marist International Programs was very helpful in that I was able to choose what country I wanted to go to, and they helped me find a program that would help me while I was there.
What would you say to a student thinking about applying to Marist College?
I would tell them to spend as much time in clubs as you can, especially if you have an interest in specific clubs. You may not think you want to join them, but in the long run, you definitely won’t regret it. I originally did not want to do band in college, since I had been in it all through high school, but I made many of my friends through music.
